Overview of Small Business Training Classes provided by GNC Web
Creations
Although I am the founder of the Small Business Website Development
Training Center, I definitely do not see myself as the “queen” of
small business website development. In fact, I only learned to develop
a successful online business after first finding every possible
method that did not work.
During this journey, I soon discovered that there were tons of
small business owners facing the exact same challenges and who were
also overwhelmed with the amount of conflicting information
they were finding.
Like myself, these small business owners joined every discussion
group and forum out there. They signed up for every relevant newsletter
they could find. They tried each new idea, each new technique. However,
despite their efforts, they were not seeing the results they were
searching for and often gave up in frustration.
On November 7, 2003, I began offering my first free training
class. That class would eventually lead to the Small Business Website
Development Training Center. I wanted to provide a solid recipe
for ethical SEO techniques that would improve search engine placement.
And, I wanted to help companies develop a successful online business.
What began as one small training class has grown to thirteen online groups.
The SEO Training and Successful Website Marketing classes continue to be the
core of the training program. We also have two additional specialized training
classes, seven supplemental interactive discussion groups, and two special focus
groups

to supplement the classes provided to members of our Small Business
Website Development Training Center. Training currently includes
RSS feeds, installing WordPress, PC maintenance & security, and installing
forms.
Small Business Interactive Discussion Groups

A dedicated group of Expression Web users working together as a team to
learn the most effective ways of using this new Microsoft program to its full
potential. The skill levels of our members range from beginner to advanced.

This group is not intended to replace Microsoft FrontPage groups that already
cover website design using FrontPage. It was specifically created to teach
members of our SEO Training class how to implement recommended search engine
optimization techniques using Microsoft FrontPage.

Here you can discuss ideas and strategies to develop a successful
online business. These discussions are restricted to a few specially
selected small business related topics NOT covered in our training
classes.

Peer site reviews are conducted on an announcement basis only. We work
together to improve the marketing, appearance, and credibility of our
websites.

The primary goal of this group is to work together as a team to help
everyone learn to troubleshoot and find solutions for web design issues.

If you want to discuss anything involving RAM, hard drives, external hard
drives, motherboards, keyboards, processors, sound cards, video cards,
broadband, Ethernet, modems, USB ports, power supplies, network adapters,
heatsinks & fans, DVD-ROM & DVD-RW drives, routers, networking, hardware
installation issues, software installation issues, broadband issues,
etc., this is the place.

Members discuss photography tips, graphics, and image editing for the
web. We welcome all skill levels from beginner to advanced.

Conducted properly, debates about controversial topics can lead to
knowledge and important changes in our communities. This group gives us an
avenue to discuss those topics not open for discussion in many forums because
they are considered controversial, often leading to name calling and pointless
arguing, rather than opening our minds to hearing all sides of an issue and
perhaps making a difference in the world around us.

The SEO Coffee Shop may add large amounts of meaningless chatter
to your inbox, often resulting in uncontrollable laughter. This
group is our designated area for personal chatting and getting
to know each other.
