Website Development Training
Professional Website Development Training Class

This class provides website development training
with a special focus on small business owners. The classes are provided
specifically as a supplement to members of our
SEO Training Class.
The current topics include, but are
not limited to learning the basics of HTML, CSS, Internet Security
and other valuable website development techniques. This class will follow the structured lesson plans
of the Website Development Training teachers.
You will be able to
respond and ask questions about lessons and tutorials, but much
like the main SEO Class, it is not structured like a discussion
group or forum.
All the standard
guidelines in the other groups, apply to these training
classes also.
If you have specific lessons that you would like covered or trained
in this group, please
contact me off list with the request and we will do our
best to get those topics covered.

Andrew Ross
CSS Training Specialist

I am a Kiwi, New Zealander, currently living
in England with my wife. My profession is medical and my hobbies
are traveling (hence one reason for our move to the UK), surfing
the web and growing cactus. I have always had an interest
in computers from the C-64 in the early eighties, a bit of
a hiatus, then the PC and the internet in the late nineties,
and now my laptop of course has traveled half-way round the
world with me.
As webmaster of the
NZ Cactus and Succulent Society, I learned HTML,
then CSS through trial and error - still learning - as we
all are. One of my projects at the moment is creating a commercial
site for my wife to sell the jeweler she creates.

Martha Bagwell
Self Proclaimed Spyware Removal / Fighter Fanatic!

I have lived in a lot of places, including
Iran (while the Shah was still there), Brazil, Gran Canaria
in the Canary Islands and Scotland. I enjoyed living in those
places, but I enjoy living in the United States, my homeland.
I have a husband, James, and two sons, Mark, a computer science
engineer and Todd, who is A+ Certified.
I am now retired and having a lot more fun
than when I was was working!
I have had a computer since 1982, when we returned home from
Scotland where I first saw a computer, a Commodore 64 and
fell in love with computers. I am self taught about computers
and am still in a learning mode, especially about the web!
However, I do consider I am slightly expert in battling spyware,
spam and other malware and with my website,
Martha's Web, I hope to educate people how to keep
these pervasive uglies from ruining their enjoyment on the
web, their computers and possibly their lives by having their
identities stolen.

Brian V Bonini
Problem Solver
Since 1997 (after a brief stint as a computer
hardware specialist) I've been the executive producer and
founder of
gfx-Design and have more recently added ONI Data Solutions
to the roster. I oversee all aspects of design, development,
integration and quality control in addition to hands on development
of all phases of our projects.
I am well versed in past,
present and future W3c (X)HTML/XML, XSL/XSLT, DOM, and CSS
specifications. I've built many web applications using LAMP
technologies (Linux, Apache, PHP, MySQL) and specialize in
configuring and working in each of these technologies individually
as well. I'm an avid proponent of web standards, accessibility,
open source and anything anti-Microsoft. As such, I've been
an exclusive Linux/UNIX user for almost 10 years now and enjoy
administering these systems. With the birth of ONI Data Solutions
we are now venturing out into a more broad range of data related
services. One of which will be supplemental support services
for individuals and companies not receiving the level of support
they need from their primary providers. In addition we provide
a full range of web hosting solutions, domain registration
and management, application installation and configuration.
In this classroom I provide basic advice and solutions for
some of the more intricate areas of web design/development
and server administration. Including Apache's mod_rewrite
for mapping dynamic to static URLs for optimum SEO performance,
application installation and configuration, application programming
and while we have two excellent HTML and CSS tutors you will
often find me chiming in with my $0.02 there as well.
In general, I love anything
mentally challenging. A problem that needs solving (of any
nature) is what truly motivates my work ethic.
Professional memberships:
- HTML Writers Guild
- International Webmasters Association
- International High IQ Society
On a personal note: I am a competitive
athlete (cycling) and as such, am very interested in sports
physiology, psychology and nutrition. When I'm not at the
helm of a cathode ray tube I'm on my bike, in the gym, or
teaching aerobics (spin) classes. I love pushing myself physically
to the limits to see how much I can endure. I'm married for
14 years now to Laura who is currently completing her Masters
work and have a 13 year old daughter Hayley.
