If You Are Serious

If you are serious about learning how to build a solid business that will do extremely well in the search engines, then you need to read this very carefully.

You will hear me say this over and over, and over again, until you are so sick of hearing me say it, that you begin to understand.

Your business can only be as strong as the foundation you have built below it.

Each step of the process of learning the techniques taught in our classrooms are a foundation for the next step.

The number one reason that people become overwhelmed in here is because they want to learn EVERYTHING by yesterday. It simply does not work that way.

THERE ARE NO SHORT CUTS

If you are new, or have fallen behind, do NOT even think of trying to catch up

THIS IS NOT A RACE

There aren't any quick fixes that will magically create an online business site that will be a complete success overnight.

NOW... IF YOU ARE SERIOUS...

If you are truly serious about building a site that will succeed beyond what you could have ever dreamed of, then I can help you, help yourself to accomplish this goal.

YOU MUST TAKE IT STEP BY STEP

Before you even begin, you need to get yourself organized so that you are prepared to learn. If you have not yet done so, you need to organize your inbox in such a way that you are able to keep the classes we provide completely separate. If you do not know how to do this, then you need to read Organizing Your Emails, written by SR Emerson.

Now, once you have completed this, I want you to go back and very carefully read the group description of each training class, along with the training class guidelines. Every single guideline was written to allow for the highest possible level of learning from the classes. Bookmark these pages so that you are easily able to refer to them as needed.

Only after you have completed the above steps, should you move forward.

If you have not already done so, and if you are able to, you need to seriously consider buying the SEO Techniques eBook. I would not make this recommendation if I did not know for a fact how much easier it makes it to follow the SEO Training Class. If you already have the eBook, and you are able to, I want you to print out the PDF version of the eBook and place it in a 3 ring binder. This will allow you to organize your steps and take notes as you go. Read through the eBook quickly, without trying to actually understand, and then return to the beginning to take it ONE STEP AT A TIME.

Now, when you are ready to begin class, I want you to start with the very first message and work through them ONE AT A TIME. If the class session began before you joined, then it will be necessary to read the messages from the archives. (At the end of this posting I will provide the instructions for this.)

Let's say for a moment that you are currently reading the post titled, "Assignment #1 - Supply List". Before proceeding (once you have read the post) you can do an archives search to read ALL of the questions and answers concerning that specific post. This will prevent the same questions being answered over and over again.

If you have a question to a post, that has not been answered, click on the exact post that you have a question about and select reply. Now you may proceed to ask your question. BEFORE SENDING make sure to trim the unnecessary parts of the message you are replying to.

TRIMMING LIST POSTS

If you are already receiving the posts in your inbox, you do not need to reply from the group. You can reply directly from your inbox, but archive searches would still be done in the groups.

Continue on STEP BY STEP through learning all of the techniques being taught within each of the groups. Do not jump around in the lessons or you will end up with a certifiable mess and be totally confused on how you have gotten to that point. People want to come to the class and then pick and choose and hop around the lessons, but they are designed to work in sequence. I know it is frustrating to see information you want to know about and have to wait, but that truly works best : - )

FREE CLASSES PLUS A FULL TIME BUSINESS

People often ask how I can run a full time business AND offer these free classes. There are three techniques which make this possible.

I schedule my time. I schedule time every day for the free classes. But I also limit that time. This means that each class will proceed at its own rate, depending on how that class is doing.
I teach the training classes in a group setting. That is, I don't handle individual questions offline, out of class. If hundreds of students email, asking for just a couple minutes, pretty soon I am spending hours.
I do not give site specific help for the training classes. I teach the concepts. Students must decide how the concepts apply to their individual circumstances. There is no possible way to cover every single possible situation in the classes.

MY PHONE NUMBER

The phone number on my site is for my commercial clients. I'd love to talk with you, but I need to keep that number free for the full time business I run.

A NOTE ABOUT VOLUNTEERS

Please also apply these same guidelines to the training specialists in the classes. Remember they are volunteers. Respect their time. If you need private help from them, ask them about paying for a consultation or personal tutoring.

ARCHIVE INSTRUCTIONS TO START

Please go to both of the group pages to read archived messages. Since we delete all of the archives before the start of a new class, the messages will be easy to find. When you get to the page, and are signed in, click on "messages" in the left side navigation. When the new page opens, click on "first." You will need to do this for each group.
